Ben Kiser of Kiser Computer Consulting, LLC, spoke to the Rotary Club about computers and his business. He attended NRCC and planned to attend Virginia Tech for a degree in architecture His interest in computers led him to ECPI. With certification in computer electronics he began working for a computer firm that led to a career with Carillion as a systems engineer. Living in Floyd, he often helped friends and friends of friends with their computers. His side business grew and he found that he really enjoyed working with people rather than a large company. He also has more time for his family now. Ben is certified in Citrix, Dell, A+, MCSA, MAC, web-work and works cross-platform.
